AFG Cardiovascular Nursing is an association of scientifically trained nursing professionals. We are committed to providing the best possible care for people with cardiac or cerebrovascular diseases and their families.

Why is nursing science needed?

Many people, from newborns to the very elderly, are affected by cardiac or cerebrovascular diseases, sometimes both. Nursing care for these often chronically ill people and the care of their relatives is an increasing challenge. In order to effectively further develop nursing practice, it is necessary to generate new findings. In doing so, we rely on patient experience, the expertise of nursing professionals and current research. This is the task of nursing science: to create and disseminate this knowledge.
