Funded officially only in May 2021, our academic society for nursing economics is still very young.  Our scientifically trained nursing professionals and researchers analyse, generate, and promote nursing economics data to inform the nursing research community on health care policy and best practices in service delivery.

Individual members are encouraged to introduce relevant themes from their practice field. The discussion allows a valuable exchange of know-how and experience amongst participants. For more in-depth knowledge on a specific issue, we may invite external expert to a meeting.

1. To develop, disseminate and implement new knowledge in the field of nursing economics.
2. To serve as a contact point for professional, health and education policy issues in Switzerland.
3. The AS promotes and develops networks for academically trained nurses in the field of nursing economics and encourages the exchange of experience.
4. The AS aims to be involved as a group in national and international congresses relevant to the topic: this for its own continuous education, but also in order to disseminate state of the art research findings.
5. To contribute to professional or peer-reviewed journals.
