The Academic Society (AFG) of Oncology Nursing is an association of scientifically trained nursing professionals. We are committed to providing optimal support for people with cancer and their families.

The number of people affected by a cancer diagnosis is continuously increasing.  At the same time, however, more and more knowledge is being gained on how to prevent cancer and counter its effects in a way that a dignified existence is still achievable, despite illness.

In order to facilitate high-quality care, these findings must be put into practice in a ideal way. Our goal is to develop concepts of how good knowledge leads to good action.
