The VFP promotes close cooperation with our partners in order to ensure high-quality healthcare. Interdisciplinary exchange and cooperation between various stakeholders - be they professional associations, educational institutions, research institutes, political decision-makers or healthcare institutions - are of crucial importance. Only through a strong and trusting partnership can we successfully overcome the challenges in the healthcare sector, create better working conditions and promote high-quality, patient-centred  and safe care. We are proud to maintain a close and trusting collaboration with the organizations listed below in particular.


Netzwerk Pflege Schweiz

Since 2016, the three largest care associations have been working together as the "Swiss Care Network": The Swiss Professional Association of Female and Male Nurses SBK-ASI, The Swiss Association for Nursing Science VFP/APSI und die Swiss Nurse Leaders.  

The network develops common positions for the benefit of modern nursing care, coordinates activities and advocates a sustainable healthcare system that focuses on patient-centered care, ensuring patient safety and promoting the job satisfaction of all professionals in the nursing sector. 

As part of the implementation of the care initiative, the Swiss Care Network is currently focusing on improvements in the areas of working conditions, funding and training and is speaking with 'One voice'.
