Symptom Navi© Flyers are symptom-specific written information leaflets in brochure format to support symptom self-management by cancer patients. They have been initiated by the Lindenhofgruppe Bern. The Symptom Navi© Flyers were further developed to create the Symptom Navi© Program in collaboration with the AFG Oncology Nursing, Swiss Oncology Nursing Society, Swiss Cancer League and Swiss Universities of Applied Science in Health Care. The Symptom Navi© Program consists of three parts:

• 16 symptom-specific Symptom Navi© Flyers
• semi-structured nurse-led consultations to introduce and provide Symptom Navi© Flyers
• a training manual to guide nurses in how to provide the program.

We are currently evaluating the program with a pilot study: Symptom Navi© Pilot Study
