About us
The Academic Society for Rehabilitative Care is an association of academically qualified healthcare professionals. We enable people and their families to keep, get back, or improve skills and functioning for daily living that have been lost or impaired because of illness, accident or due to disability.
Rehabilitation is a fast evolving specialist field. Rehabilitative care is increasingly gaining importance as a result of demographic changes, developments in the Swiss health care system and medical progress.
These factors have led to more healthcare professionals specialising in rehabilitative care, which causes a growing need to transfer knowledge generated in research into practice.
We promote research in the field of rehabilitative care and contribute to an evidence-based development of rehabilitative care.
