CHOP-ABTP
In order for the activating and accompanying therapeutic care (ABTP) to be included in the Chop catalogue, a uniform definition of ABTP is absolutely necessary from the insurer's point of view.The Swiss Association for Nursing Science (VFP) and the SBK, together with practical experts, have developed the definition and the reference document for ABTP.
Practical concerns were identified by means of a hearing in October 2016 and incorporated into the paper.
In close consultation with Swiss Nurse Leaders, the definition and the reference document were finalised and submitted to the Federal Statistical Office (BfS) and Swiss DRG AG.
From 1 January 2018 (see Circular 2018 No. 1), the definition and the reference document will apply.
