CNS Unconference 2026 im Kantonsspital Baselland, Bruderholz
About 50 participants from 26 institutions in Switzerland and Germany discussed the effectiveness and financial benefits of Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS).
The focus was on interprofessional effectiveness research and the impact of CNS on outcomes-related diagnoses such as delirium, pressure ulcers, malnutrition, and dysphagia. Internal networking, visibility, and collaboration on an equal footing were highlighted as key to strengthening this role—as was the urgency of establishing standardized job descriptions and a clear legal framework.
