Symptom Navi© program

Symptom Navi© flyers are information sheets on various symptoms for cancer patients, helping them to independently assess the severity of symptoms and respond appropriately. The development of these flyers was initiated by the Lindenhof Group in Bern. In collaboration with AFG Oncology Care, Oncology Care Switzerland, the Swiss Cancer League, and Swiss universities of applied sciences specializing in health, the Symptom Navi© flyers were further developed into the Symptom Navi© program. This program currently consists of three parts:

  • 16 symptom-specific Symptom Navi© flyer
  • Semi-structured nursing consultations in which the use of the Symptom Navi© flyers is explained and these are handed out.
  • Training manual to introduce caregivers to the use of the program.
