Psychiatric Nursing
The Academic Society of Psychiatric Nursing was founded in May 2005 and is an association of academically trained nurses with at least a Master's degree or doctorate.
AFG psychiatric care is involved wherever people with a mental illness are in need of effective care, support and assistance. This includes all areas of care from outpatient to inpatient, education providers and research institutions as well as non-profit organizations.
- We are committed to strong psychiatric nursing and support the diverse commitments in the development and implementation of new roles such as the Advanced Practice Nurse (APN).
- We consider an inclusive and person-centered approach, joint decision-making with clients, trialogue and peer work to be important pillars of psychiatric care.
- Together with stakeholders from practice, management, teaching and research, we define key topics that we develop in partnership and learn and benefit from through mutual exchange.
