Commissions

The VFP commissions are specialized committees that deal with specific, cross-thematic and interdisciplinary challenges in nursing science and practice. They support the Executive Board and the academic professional societies in specific subject areas by pooling expertise, developing trend-setting recommendations or laying the foundations for the strategic direction of the VFP. They are made up of representatives of the academic professional societies and other specialists;

Two commissions are currently active: the Commission for Digitalization, which deals with the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation and technologization in nursing and nursing research, and the Commission for Health Policy, which deals with political developments and their impact on the nursing profession.
