Change of office
The change of office was transferred to the Center for Association Management under the management of Martin Diethelm. We are now in the process of setting up our new office. Cooperation in the D-A-CH region
The VfP meets regularly with our sister organizations in the D-A-CH region, the German Society for Nursing Science DGP and the Austrian Society of Nursing Science GesPW | ÖGKV. Together, we have developed the one-pager on measures to promote the training and deployment of academically qualified nursing staff, see Care needs quality. Now the representatives will meet on 10 March 2025 in Berlin at the 7th Cluster Conference of the Future of Nursing 2.0 Cluster. The conference is intended to facilitate an exchange between nursing science stakeholders from Germany, Austria and Switzerland under the title "Training - Studies - Digitization in Nursing". Members of AfG Spitex Pflege have helped to develop an important publication on interRAI assessment tools for care and assistance needs. The article in the Spitex Magazin - interRAI Understanding and using IADL scales explains the scales of instrumental daily living skills and gives practical recommendations for their application.

Patient Safety Switzerland
The Swiss Patient Safety Foundation announces in its January newsletter that the future of CIRRNET has been secured. Further information About CIRRNET - Patient Safety and its role as a supra-regional institution. In addition to the publication of practical recommendations for action (Quick-Alerts und Quick Info), various regular Events (Incident Talks, reporting months, network meetings, CIRRNET conferences) to promote the exchange of experience and knowledge across organizations and sectors.
Sensitivity to differences
The website offers audio recordings from those affected and experts as well as a wealth of learning resources, links and documents to improve the accessibility of teaching at universities. The project was carried out by the University of Teacher Education FHNW (Gender Equality and Diversity Office) in collaboration with the Center for Gender Studies at the University of Basel, the Interdisciplinary Center for Gender Studies at the University of Bern and Gender Campus. Consultation on the 2nd stage of the implementation of the care initiative completed: opinions published
On May 8, 2024, the Federal Council opened the consultation on the new Federal Act on Working Conditions in Nursing (BGAP) and the amendment to the Health Professions Act (GesBG). The consultation period ended on August 29, 2024, during which time a total of 176 comments were received, which can now be viewed on the corresponding Statements - Swiss Association for Nursing Science (vfp-apsi.ch) are available.

FMC, integrated care
Prof. Dr. Matthias Mitterlechner from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) has conducted the 5-part WEBINAR SERIES: fmc HSG Management Journal Club together with fmc 2024. Based on scientific journals, the relevant principles for the implementation of integrated care initiatives were discussed together with 5 practice experts. Save the Date: Under the motto "Integration needs transformation", the FMC Symposium will take place on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the Eventforum in Bern.
