"Care is relationship - and relationship is knowledge, attitude and shared responsibility." - Karin Stifter

New ICN nursing definition: a milestone for the nursing profession

The International Council of Nurses (ICN) has fundamentally revised the definitions of "nursing" and "nurse" for the first time in almost 40 years. The result is a modern, globally coordinated understanding of professional nursing - people-centered, broadly effective and indispensable for health, education, research and society. An authorized German translation with a glossary was produced jointly by the DBfK, ÖGKV and SBK.

More information in the paper on the new definition.

Office

We wish you all the best and a peaceful time.
